Job Description



This position will be located on site at our client’s facility in Green Bay, WI.   The associate will be responsible for managing backhaul needs and developing customer & carrier relationships, while providing the highest level of service.  This associate will also act as the intermediary between FirstFleet corporate and this highly important client.   


Work, typically performed under minimal daily supervision requires a self-motivated and results oriented individual who displays flexibility to function effectively in a constant changing, fast paced, service-oriented environment.  An Interactive employee will have three areas of concentration, filling empty back-haul miles for dedicated customer, soliciting for new lanes to outsource to partner carriers, and building positive relationships with customer and carriers.



Duties and responsibilities:



•         Act as intermediary for FirstFleet and client for any issues, updates, etc.



•         Answer calls / emails



•         Collect available unit information (daily & recurring)



•         Handle equipment postings (keep current throughout the day)



•         Search for and secure freight



•         Build and maintain positive relationships with new and existing carriers, brokers and customers.



•         Act as a liaison between fleets and brokers.



•         Respond to inquiries in a timely manner



•         Communicate and resolve service issues as quickly as possible



•         Manage necessary reports



•         Seek out freight/equipment opportunities (striving to reduce / eliminate empty miles)



•         Other related duties and participate in projects as needed
